A truly great puzzle. If it were boxed, I'd buy it! I never guessed fishing gear. I thought of yarn until I recognized the fencing, then electrical wires came to mind. I wonder what other masses of colord strands there are in the world. Anyone?

Just right as a puzzle, thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't think of any others masses probably because it is still early here (that's my excuse anyway!)

On a slightly bigger scale, how about under the streets now that different coloured plastics are used for gas, water, communications etc? Absolutely brilliant puzzle - I agree with all of you.

Lovely puzzle! Those polypropyline (sp?) ropes make for some bright colors.

Rock-climbing ropes are often very colorful, too. Most have a pattern in the sheath, and sometimes they change the color or weave or pattern in the middle of a rope, so you can find the middle more easily -- and so you know which end to pull when you are retrieving a rope!
