Well it's a car.

Interesting car. I don't do these small pieces anymore

Are you sure?

concept car maybe called the turtle?nice puzzle. thanks

Carrie, try them with the zoom feature, it does help. If this is a 'Herbie' it is a collector car! Fun puzzle.

Carrie from IA. Do you have a small box on the bottom right hand bar of your screen? There's a Magnifing glass, and 100pc in it. You can click on that and get 125 pc, up to 400 pc. That helps for doing small bits. Hope this helps.

Turtles are interesting creatures, my grandson had a box turtle once and it could really gobble up the big fat night crawlers, gross but interesting. Good picture and fun to work. 01/21/08

I wonder if this VW 'Turtle' can win a race with a VW Rabbit?
 |  |
It's a turtle beetle

Ruth, I do not seem to have that option for more pieces. Do you know what to do to get it?
 |  |
Frans, if you right click on your mouse you'll get an option to zoom in on the puzzle. The pieces get bigger but you don't get more of them. Sometimes zooming helps, but the resolution decreases the more you zoom!

The car is a sculpture from the 2002 Sculpture by the sea exhibition in Sydney it's called tori tortoise by a guy named Zoran Krstic & it's sculpture No106! if you're interested in seeing a few more from that year go to:http://www.flickr.com/photos/lightcliff/sets/721576007229 64529/detail/

I want one of these!!! John, remember the tortoise and the hare story - this guy just might win! What an intriguing picture - would love to know what those evenly spaced people are doing in the background behind the car.

Found this quite difficult. Interesting though. Got to do some work. Catch you later.

Hi Frans
I right click and then get a menu option to have zoom - but I only get a small area of the screen enlarged so I have to zoom out to move to another part of the screen

Good puzzle!

Thanks for the 'zooming' hint. I am not computer smart and appreciate all help I can get..and understand too.
 |  |
Carrie! avec le boutons + en bas à droite de votre écran vous pouvez augmenter la grosseur des pièces. Essayez donc 125% ou 150%! cela devient un jeu d'enfant. Bien du plaisir.
Candace, vous avez raison.
It is a good puzzle...but it is only a car. And a car cannot be so nice as the flowers of Sue.

I have a Mac, so I don't have a right-click on my mouse! Any other way to zoom for us Mac-people? (I'm thinking of getting a new computer, and I think the Super-Mouse has a right-click option, but I'm not sure.

Strange but fun car! Looks right at home on the sand!
 |  |
Ruth from L'Amable Ontario....thanks for the information...I get magnification of 100%, 125% and 150%...makes a nice difference and at 150% I think I spotted the head of a turtle near the headlight on the car.

Joan the 'people' in the back ground actually comprise another sculpture & are in fact 1/2 surfboards turned int lounge furniture. The sculpture's called 'wave dreamer's lounge room'. Pat, it is a turtle's head on the front of the bonnet!

It's hard to believe that that beetle is a sand sculpture, maybe a sand painting but you can't make opague sand into a winshield or headlights or tires for that matter.
