I have never seen snow

Growing up in Canada I can't imagine never having seen snow. However, I also can't imagine having it first appear in September! What time does it all melt in the spring in Utah?

Sue and others: I'll do the puzzle a little later, but can't resist responding. We often get far too much snow here in Ottawa. What's your home address, and I'll try to see if the city street cleaning crew can send some over this winter?

Occassionally frost, but we get no snow here in sunny Jimboomba, QLD either. How about a bucket full sent over in Deember?

No snow where I come from, just hot hot hot. Winter days are around 25 degrees Celcius. I couldn't take the cold any more.

Australia does not get snow like the US and Canada. We went to the US, Washington, Origan and CA in May this year, and couldn'y get to the big lake as it was under 22ft of snow. the road out of Sequia National park was closed for snow, and when we went up mount Ashton I took photos of me standing More...

My ex brother in law was Ameican from Oregon, and when I complained of being cold once he said we Aussies didn't know the meaning of cold - he said cold is when the snot in your nose freezes

Another hardish puzzle and similar to yesterday but enjoyed doing it. We don't have mountains like that in Aust. But our area of snow in The Aust Alps is an area bigger than Switzerland. Only in Winter though. Some trivia for the day??

I love our Snowy Mountains area in the summer time, lots of great walks. We walked to the top of Mt Kosciosko in December a couple of years ago and there were still drifts of snow to be crossed, but so beautiful!!!

I've only seen snow once, during a 6th class school excersion - it was not snowing at the time, but the snow on the ground looked like that in the freezer.
I'd hate to think of that up my nose - thanks for the laugh jackie.

Well I am born and bred here in Adelaide, and came home a year back after spending 7 years in the high desert of Nevada. I hate snow now and have promised never to whine about decent civilised rain again. Snow is so prretty when you don't have to go out in it..... and I only want to see it on TV and in jigsaws now, thank you :)

We once had an unusually cold winter, about 7 years ago. Children in the street built a snowman in the morning on their way to school and it was still there when they came home. My dog ate snow off the top of the barbeque. I'll have to post a pic to prove it! LOL

PJ, What do you mean Spring? The last snow I saw finally melted about mid July.

A very late posting from me today. Been flat out since 5am. Now it's nearly 10pm and I'm stuffed! Had to get my Jigsaw Fix for the day though and read everyone's comments.
Spring has sprung here and I miss winter already. It was 30oC today... all this talk of snow is making me More...

snow is great- it belongs on the montains where one can ski and snowboard on it, and quite possible backyards for the building of snow-people, it however does not belong on roads and sidewalks, with the exception of chrismas day,as long as i don't have to drive anywhere.

Snow is beautiful when it is in limited amounts.

I'll bet if you skiied on the mountains of Nepal, it would be the last ski trip you ever took! Those mountains look treacherous but awesome.
