The rain is returning. T-storms schedule for the entire day.

We received maybe 1/4' last night. We are thankful for any we can get now although we had flooding the beginning of May.

We had a tornado yesterday morning and tremendous rain, like a fireman's hose, for a short time east of me on Long Island. Some streets were covered with fallen trees.

We got 3' of rain last night and we lost our power twice. It has been hot here for a few months so we are happy to have the rain and cool down a little. The wildlife is grateful too!

This is our second day without rain, but, it is so hot and muggy, I think I would like to see a bit more rain. What a pretty girl....

It is interesting hearing about weather in other parts of the world. They say that global warming means more severe weather everywhere. While you have been sweltering in the Nth hemisphere, we've been down under!

I am amazed at the amount of rain. We had to plow up our garden already because the vegies were drowning and rotting on the vine. I have pictures somewhere that show cracks in the ground as big as craters during a 4th of July party. Now I have very tall grass.
Pat I can relate to the humity you are having in between rain. I cannot tell you the last time I had a good hair day.

Well, we're having some good rain here in Perth at long last, but we need lots more. This is supposed to be our winter. Our annual rainfall is way below what it should be.

Jette, Way too much rain and storms in SE Florida also - but 'they' say we are still in a drought and need more rain; we (the non-educated consumer) say it is because too much water was let out of the reservoir system last hurricane season. Do you hear that up in central FL?
