Best place to sleep ever was in the rocking chair on my grandparents front porch while a gentle rain turned the metal roof into a symphony.

We desperately need rain here in Perth and surrounds - or we are all going to have serious food shortages in the not too distant future. Very grim situation. Everybody should pray.

My grandmother and her many siblings were raised in a cottage ver much like that. If only walls could talk! Thank you Ian first time I have done this one. Wendy we all need to pray hard for rain we are on level 5 water restrictions here.

Now it's us who needs the rain, but I hope you Aussies have gotten a significant amount since your comments. This cottage reminds me a lot of sleeping in my grandparents' little one-room cabin on the river. It had a tin roof also, and rainy nights were the best. 4/2/08
