Another of Ian's? Lots of wonderful pub names in England. One of my favourites is near Hurley, Oxfordshire - the Dew Drop Inn, which when pronounced, sounds extremely hospitable! Which reminds me of a sentence in English with 5 - YES FIVE! - consecutive ands. Two perfectionist signwriters were More...

Ihope the Grammarian isn't going to jump on me about ending a sentence with so many prepositions!!!!

Ah Richard, I see you are a student of the English language. I am no linguist but I am fascinated by the contortions that people can dream up in the belief that they are creating good english (and that sentence was too long by far). I have posted a photo of a sign that I found in the carpark of More...

Anne/Albany - where are you? I miss your cheery comments - and there are none to be seen anywhere today. I do hope that flu isn't getting you down. Take care.
 |  |
Anne, I have been reminded that you are away today. Oops.

Ian here are some of Anne/Albany past posts. Cheer up- I miss her comments also. Can you remember the photos :)
That's a toothy grin. I know what we're having for tea tonight. Who is the fisherman, though? Gorgeous photo - I've been trying recently to get a pelican in flight, but never seem to More...

Just reading the above comments and thank you to those who missed my comments. I did have an early night last night due to this virus I have picked up but feel a bit better this morning.
Cheers to everyone.

I think I would have been better off to leave this until tomorrow morning after spending all day on the computer at work Very tough. How do you get so many of your pictures as jigsaws Ian? They're always good puzzles.

Yes Ian they are wonderful photos - gives one the travel bug again

Greg, originally I tried to select those photos that would make challenging jigsaws, but I have begun to realise that people also enjoy attractive photos of interesting places - so I whack in a sort of 'Best of' series of photos from my collection in the hope that they will entertain and stimulate More...

Ian, how is the new camera coming along?
 |  |
Yes Ian. Another goody. A wee bit hard too. Happy day to all.

Anne, I'm still learning how to use it. I have taken a couple of nice photos of my friends around the table at a lunch last Sunday and a few around the house to get a feel of how it performs under different conditions. The bottom line is that I am extremely happy with the results and I have just posted my first called 'Architect's Old House' on Flickr.
