I know its a snail, but I don't know what the rest is. A very interesting hard.

An excellent hard and interesting picture, with a positive lack of any feline interest!

That was hard. I'm also wondering what all the stuff in the background is.

A collection of broken shells? Difficult but interesting picture.

If that snail is hiding from enemies, he chose a great place...he really blends in.

Enjoyed this one - very nice colours!

Great puzzle. Fun picture! Thanks for all the weekend's pictures, too - I've just done them! Pam/Canada congratulation on the arrival of Timothy Peter. Judie/Maryland thanks for the info on Dolly Sods, it was very interesting. Saturday(Australia)'s puzzle of the 'Birdhouse icestorm' was great & thanks to Wagdy for the Cairo picture!

I spied the snail in the woods atop Chimney Rock. Leaves, sticks and rocks surrounded it. When I downloaded the image, I was astounded at the colors. The head and tail were extended when I saw it, but must have contracted when the flash went off.

I would have never guessed that this was at Chimney Rock, Nancy. Great photography. Isn't it amazing what we see when we look at the image enlarged for the first time? I would have guessed it was stuff having to do with the ocean. I think my fear of heights heightened exponentially the one time that I climbed all around the rock!
