In the town where I live, we're proud owners of "yellow" fire engines... They say you can see them better on the road - but it just doesn't ring the same does it... Thanks for the red one.

I love fire trucks! Thanks, ladies. By the way, the jigsaw puzzle on Today's AARP site is a real doozy. I never was able to completely solve it -- I was missing about 5 pieces that I just could not find. Try it and let me know how you do! http://www.uclick.com/client/mma/uj/

A lot of our county fire engines look like this, but unfortunately not red. Either yellow or white.

Fire trucks are featured in most parades here. The firemen's kids are usually riding on them. Once a fire call came in during the parade. The excited kids got a quick ride to the fire station. Naturally, they wanted to "do it again!"

Kay, insofar as I can see, that puzzle is impossible! The outside edges are incomplete for one thing. Even after I gave up and had the puzzle give me the outside edges, I could not get the three rings together. Somebody go do it!

That's funny, Judy ... I did have the entire outside edge of the circle done. The five pieces that I was missing were all interior ones. I'm not sure what you mean by "three rings" -- I only had one big one! Maybe I'll try it again and see what happens. 'Tis a mystery!

I tried it again, and this time I was missing about 3-4 pieces of the outside edge and several more on the inside, not at all the same ones that I was missing the first time. Either it's a trick, or something's just wrong with the puzzle site.

Well, that's what I meant -- "arcs" I suppose, instead of rings. Anyway, it's a heck of a way to treat the old folks!
