Talk about anything and everything, but place your comments in the right categories so that people on slow internet connections can still enjoy the site. Also, be nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

Omar, I agree. This isn't the type of thing one wants to promote even if it is for Halloween. It's like condoning violence. Yuck! Find someother type of costome for young people. This isn't fun.

I'm not trying to be 'PC', I just feel that we live in a world where so many people believe the use of violence is an acceptable was to justify their agenda. We don't need to imply to our children that any kind of violence is acceptable behavior, even for 'innocent' amusement

I was really disturbed by this picture..I thought ghosts and goblins were for Halloween...not future gangsters. For the first time though, I did the really hard puzzle...don't want anyone to know how long it took me to finish it!!

Yes, it was a tough puzzle. I get disturbed by the comments that this picture is disturbing. As I child growing up in Canada, I was exposed to shows like the Jolly Green Giant, Mr. Dress-up, the Mickey Mouse Club, etc., but I was also exposed (and hero worshipped) people in shows such as Davy More...

Greg, I agree with the sentiments you expressed so eloquenty. They are only kids dressing up. As a kid I remember playing 'Cowboys and Indians' with my younger brother - I was the cowboy and he was the indian. His complaint was that the indian always got shot. But as we grew up we were taught More...

Personally, I thought the photo cute. The first one I got a chuckle out of in a long time. Just kids playing dress up, and what little boy doesn't like to play with guns, as long as they know the difference between real and pretend like C.Greg and Ian said.
Good mAen!

We have seen this pic before on Sudoku, and it caused a lot of comments there too! I think it cute also, Missielely, especially the super serious expressions on the little gansters!! Playacting things from the past can be a good way to teach the values we want in our children and young people today!! (steps off soapbox)

I'm so tired of PC. This is a fun photo of kids dressing up. Nothing more. Do you go to the movies Omar? What about all those costumes the actors wear? Do you disapprove of them too. Get a grip !

I did their faces first. And at first I thought they were dressed up as rock and roll stars like Acka Dacka. The expressions were right! I was disappointed when there 'guitars' turned out to be guns : (

I found the puzzle quite difficult and was disappointed when it was finished. They are beautiful little boys but I hated the outfits and the very real looking guns. Kids playing cops and robbers etc using their imaginations is fine but adults have dressed these little guys up and I hate the way they look :0(

So here's the infamous machine gun! I'm a huge Hallowe'en fan and love the originality of these dressed up kids. I totally agree with Greg and Ian and Kate, etc., above. Teach them early and keep their heads on straight, and it's all just make-believe to them and to us, imho.

I find it interesting that the same people who cannot appreciate (or even tolerate) the wide-eyed innocence of a kitten discovering life, see nothing innappropriate in glorifying violence in children, especially in an era where children are shooting each other in schools and playgrounds and are being trained as warriors in Africa and the Middle East.

Greetings from the Future!
Interesting picture - love the expressions on kids faces - so deep they are in their play, but my feelings are mixed - I do feel disturbed - and frightened - by those expressions.
