Beautiful and dainty, they look like they could be fairy skirts, but that may change after my eyes readjust back to normal

Thanks Sue - a beautiful photo. I was thinking they looked like Christmas fairy lights but Kate's idea's much prettier!

They are so beautiful just I had to look them up. They are a tropical cactus flower growing wild in Argentina and Brazil. Thanks Sue.

Rhipsalis is also called "Easter cactus" and on some of them the flowers look a lot like the Christmas cactus (or Thanksgiving cactus). They are a tropical cactus, and don't have spines. Mine has hairs instead of spines. It didn't flower for a long time, and my blooms are red. Nice photo, Sue, though I did enlarge it to make it easier to see and work!

Beautiful, Sue! Think I'll take my tired eyes to the kitchen and fix supper for Sandy and me at this point! Seriously, a beautifully detailed photo - thank you for sharing.
