Wendy, I had just changed a diaper. Girlie-girl is having bowel problems, since we switched from formula to regular milk. Actually, problems is the wrong word--the girl stinks at duty time. Someone should have written a warning about what comes out of these cute little darlings!

Hi Karen, nappy time isn't much fun! I was lucky(??), before my daughter was born I worked in babies wards & neonatal intensive care so I had nappies on a large scale! But I do remember changing a niece's nappy a few years after my daughter was trained & it was a pretty foul one which made me gag!!!

LOL Kate, even though at the time I am sure it was not funny. I have 24 semester hours of child developement and countless hours of childcare behind me. I do not recall any book mentioning this toxic waste phase. I also have 2 nieces and 5 nephews, I do not remember any of this toxic odor. Even now More...

I am told this is a phase (so people knew about this phase) will pass when her system adjust to the regular milk. I pray it is fast!!!!

I guess we older ladies didn't have that odor problem because we breast-fed our babies. I don't remember any foul odors at all until they went onto regular food and milk.
