Anotoher good photo, it looks like spring, can't wait. I've got spring fever and cabin fever bad. Spring come one down. 02/16/08 Saturday

I sympathize, Martha - our melt of yesterday will probably turn into a skating rink by tomorrow! For me, the worst part is trying to take a walk with my old doggy - I'm afraid she'll slip and hurt herself. This is certainly a cheery picture for those of us in the winter doldrums!!

very green

Nice sundial.

Great photo, makes a challenging puzzle. We have rain here today.
 |  |
We are supposed to get rain later turning to snow with accumulations of about 3'. I can hardly wait to go to FL in about 10 days!
 |  |
Dorthea, was that a dramatic pause?? Very green, as you say ., but very sculptural in its composition. Nice pic!
 |  |
I'm soooo ready for spring
 |  |
This was a challenge and worth the time. Does the sundail really work. Some people just put them anyway forgetting to 'set the clock'!
 |  |
My back yard, don't remember the name of the flowers. The sundial is set correctly I think. The yard sure isn't as green right now, no flowers and the grass is brown.
Kathy/KS it is raining here already, and I don't want any more snow, you may have our share.
Where are you in KS?

BTW this is a new picture

Sue, apart from the beauty of the photo, it is encouraging to see a new photo appear. I have reloaded many of mine that were lost in the change of ISPs and I look forward to seeing the fresh material appear.
 |  |
Ian, I am with you about fresh material, but I always enjoy pictures of Sue's flower garden!
 |  |
Thanks Sue from OK. The flowers are Liatris and they also come in white. I have a small patch of mixed. Just hope they have survived this winter as we have had record snow up here. Will have to wait until July/Aug. for them but will be worth it.
 |  |
I can't tell you how sorry I am for all you people suffering from the winter up north. The flowers here are beautiful already.
 |  |
The sundial counts our sunny times,
But not in minutes, seconds, tenths of seconds
As digital clocks now do.
Perhaps we should be less possessed
By time, and live by the sundial time instead.

Our grass stays green in the winter (unlike the many years I spent in Wisconsin), but I'm waiting for the first spring flowers to appear!

Beautiful picture...this puzzle was fun and challenging!

Oh boy Sue I've enjoyed your garden. Like Ruth, where I am we have 2 feet of the white 'stuff' but Kathy, - expecting 3 feet - Florida sure looks good doesn't it.
 |  |
The beauty of jigsaws, such as this one from Sue, is that you notice all the variations of a colour (this one, green) rather than just looking at the image as a total. Love the rock fence or retaining wall in the background.

DotCom, didn't you live in NYC previously? Have you moved?
