DotCom, Karen, did you get my comment at the end of yesterday's 'Hard' puzzle?
 |  |
The very last one? I did receive your comments about the other puzzle site. I already go to jigzone, but I have not gone to the site that dotcom is having trouble with.
 |  |
Is this one of BobC's photos? Very nice if it is.
 |  |
Dear Ian, I got your last comment too. Thanks so much for trying to help me but that's OK. I have plenty of game sites to play with anyway. Nice of you to tell us all about them. I particularly like internet reversi which is free on Start>All Programs>Games.
 |  |
Karen, try it, it's fun - and good practice. They are all white puzzles which start off easy and get progressively harder as you go through the stages. I found that I had to be very careful to exactly match the edges otherwise you can't get it out. As I said, good practice.

Karen, I think I also explained the meaning of OZ - it is an abbreviation for Australia (OZtralia).
 |  |
I really must have wrote in a foriegn language yesterday. OK I do write in greek. Since dotcom yelled at me and now I am getting explanations. :)

It is one of those things my mind works faster than my fingers. When I first came to this site OZ and AW were confusing but then it was More...

Ian, I went to white jigsaw. Apparently I am not that big of an addict. I need the pictures. Quoting many of the puzzlers, 'I love seeing places I may never go.' They seem more real when there are comments about the place.
But thank you so much for trying to help me with my good problem.

There's also http://www.jigsawaday.com/index.html where the jigsaws download so you can play them anytime. I've been storing them up for the times I am offline.
 |  |
Oh. dino you have such great control. I have attempted to save puzzles to do at night after my family goes to bed. It has not worked for me.
 |  |
This is my favorite jigsaw site. I especially like everyone's comments. It feels like a second family. My son is bringing a friend from Australia home with him in a few weeks and my other son said ' Mom, maybe you know him from jigsaws!'
 |  |
there's another good site: http://www.jigsawaday.com/index.html where the jigsaws download onto the computer. Very handy if you can't get on line. I've got quite a few atored now.
 |  |
oops ...stored... I should be going to bed!
 |  |
oops again. When the page reloaded it didn't show all the comments. I agree, Liz, this is my favourite site of all.
 |  |
Could this picture be of an area from the easy picture?

dino, where is Gippsland?
 |  |
Gippsland is in the southern part of Australia. I live near the point (Wlisons Promontory) where mainland Australia points towards Tasmania. There's some pics on my flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/dsttc/ My township is Sandy Point
 |  |
Sorry Karen, I didn't mean to yell.
 |  |
Oh. DotCom, I wasn't offended. I reread what I wrote (proofreading is not a speciality of mine)and I am confusing. Like I said earlier, my mind goes faster than my fingers.

I am also bad about stereotyping people, so I just put it up as to where you are located. Hope that wasn't offensive. More...

Just got your message. Did you go to archives? Maybe you're not as much of a jigsawaholic as I am. I got rid of my NYC accent when I took a speech class in school. It's fun to carry on a conversation with people from all over the world here.
 |  |
Yes, I went to the archives, actually I did all the archive pics before I started talking. So I felt like I knew everyone when I started chatting.

Now I have to change my image of you! My speech classes did not get rid of my accent. My image of you was a character from the TV show Friends and at the moment I cannot think of his character name or real name.

This is a great site and has just enough to make it really fun and not overwhelming. Fun comments from around the workd!!!
 |  |
Anne, This is one of my pictures. New Mexico is one of my favorite places - so different from north to south. This picture is in the south with the Organ Mtns. in the background. Usually it is much clearer - this day it was a bit hazy.

This is a beautiful picture Kathy. So I take that this is not a another area from the garden on the easy puzzle?

ntd this site is great. If you cannot tell I have been on since 7am (it is now 10:30am) just to see what people have to say. I have a million and one things to do, so I will go do a task then come back. Though I am spending more time on the computer than I am doing any task.
 |  |
Karen, I'm sure this is no where near the picture on the easy puzzle. They probably get lots more rain!
 |  |
Rain--it is back.
We dried enough to mow the grass and get some vegetables from our garden. Then we had another T-storm which lasted all evening through the morning. I really do not have a memory of it raining after July 5th.

By the time I get to the puzzles it is early afternoon and you have all posted! I hope some of you get to see this! But do try www.allstarpuzzles.com and look for the picture puzzles. They are good fun. I have been doing them for years. They are also very challenging.
 |  |
Ian, I really enjoyed your white puzzles, course, they will never take the place of pictures, but, they are fun and challenging. I must have worked seven or eight of them, before I got to a puzzle that I knew would take a very long time. I will visit that site again.
 |  |
Pat, I'm glad yoou enjoyed them. I don't do them every day but they are a bit of fun when I want a break.
