Oh, good grief! I have some temporary blindness in that I don't see me doing this one. Great shot, Dino!

It's not only bees that are attracted by these vibrant colors! Somehow it's more fun matching these shades of purple than of, for example, brown. And interesting to discover how the shapes and colors of flowers attract certain pollinators...

Ok, I'll admit it. I don't have time to do the hard puzzles, so have discovered stacking for them. This took me five minutes, and was a lot of fun watching this beautiful flower come together. I like to think stacking is a time saving device...not cheating! Good morning everyone.

Oh Shar, now you've spoiled the AARP puzzle surprise for me! Dino, you must have a bit of a sadist in you to present us with this photo for a hard puzzle. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful photo of a beautiful bloom!

Great close-up! Tough jigsaw! Definitely one for the stacking technique.

Now that I've worked the puzzle, it wasn't bad at all! There's enough variation in color to separate the sections of the flower, and working by shape makes it easier, too. Since my enjoyment is in the challenge, I always work without stacking.

I must confess to resorting to stacking myself. My eyes can't cope with the hard jigsaws. It's easy, Judy, you just put all the pieces in a pile in one corner and then place them one by one.

That was fun! I agree with Kay - I got absorbed in color variation and, of course, the shapes of the pieces - it was delightful to see it come together. Thanks, Dino!
