I don't suppose they're edible fungi! Although you could say all fungi are edible, if only once!!

Oh, Richard, I love your comment.

Wish my sister was still with us. She had her masters in botany.

How many of us would think of taking a close up of this interesting fungus? Neat picture....

There's a fungus among us.

Richard, I thought your comment was so funny!!

Deep beneath the mountains old, the lead is turning into gold,
As carbon in your furnace into diamonds crystallize,
There's fungus breaking down your trees,
But in your flowers buzzing bees.

Richard - Loved your joke. You're a regular fun guy! And Canuk Greg - Loved your poem. I guess the alchemists would have liked to turn lead into gold, and I wish carbon in my furnace would turn into diamonds.

Thanks Richard & Greg for brightening my day!

What a fabulous photo. A great puzzle.
Thanks to the photographer.

ntd, you're right I would never have thought of taking that wonderful photo before, but after a couple of years on this site, I find myself looking differently at things, and although they are at best 'happy snaps', sometimes a little bit of art sort of creeps in to my pics.

Richard you made me laugh out loud!!

Bluey, you're right-I take a different look at things now. Who would have thought that fungi would be so much fun?

This is a very interesting picture of the cows and all with the sun set in the back ground and the black trees. Beautiful, who every did this shot, did great. Fun to work.
 |  |
Yes this is cows with the sunset. Wonder what that is in the top of the trees? Looks like wild turkeies roosting. Anyone one know? Who took this photo? Give us some information about the trees in the back ground. 02/28/08 Friday
