Dino, this made my day! I love the various shades of blue. We had a lot of water here yesterday. It certainly didn't look as good as this! Rained for two days! Felt like we were on the Ark!

Seascapes make wonderful puzzles and as we head into a weekend under a winter storm warning and predicted HIGH temperatures of -28C (-18.4F) it also looks lusciously warm!

The picture seems to be missing a plot!

Dino - I love seeing our world through your eyes - although I admit to being a bit scared of all that sea!

Bev - hope you've got plenty of hot water bottles ready.

Beautiful, Dino. Your camera eye makes the ordinary extraordinary. Bev, I just cannot imagine living in such a cold region. I'm cold if the temp goes under 700ºF!

Big ! No, I don't desire to live in the fiery pits of H.... I meant 70ºF!

Kay, It helps that I like to ski, but not at these temperatures, even though sometimes I have to as a volunteer at Lake Louise. I just came in from shoveling the first few centimetres of snow off my deck while it is still warm (-5C). The scene in the puzzle IS looking more and more attractive!

I think I'll give it a miss too, but thanks for the offer Dino!

Is wading allowed and what are the opportunities for sandcastle-building?

Kay, oh, Kay you little , I thought that was a typo! Bev, that just sounds painful to me -- temperatures that low -- oh, how do you manage, girl?

Not such a peaceful beach today. Gramma Linda, plenty of space on our beach for sandcastles and paddling, but be wary of the sandflies, and wait for this storm to blow over.

I would never think to take a photo like that - and totally miss the opportunity of creating a picture that makes you gaze at it and think! I liked it a lot, Dino, the shades of blue are wonderful! After all, isn't this what Gramma Linda and I would see as we created our sand castles!?
Kay, I More...
