The famous 'Puffing Billy'. Great photo.

I do not think this is 'Puffing Billy' Ian. It does not match any of the engines on their web page.
It also looks like three of the faces have been 'photo shopped' into the photo.

June, I bow to your greater wisdom. I had worked out that the faces didn't look right, but as far as I was aware, there are no other trains in the Melbourne area that look like Puffing Billy. No matter, it is all free publicity.

Ian and June I think it's a painting that you put your head through a hole to pose for a photo. However I don't know where it is located!

Supergran--that makes sense--I too assumed it was Puffing Billy then I read the comments before doing the puzzle and when you look closely it does look painted. Bravo to Supergran.

I think you are right Supergran ... now it just begs the question why you would take such a head-through-hole photo mock-up of Puffing Billy in Melbourne where the real thing exists?! It's probably even at one of their stations!

Maybe Dino knows... I'm ashamed to say its a while since I was last in Melbourne.
