Also, be nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

What's a "dag"?

I love this picture and caption. Lots of personality.

Gee, a definition of a dag: when said in a friendly way - funny sense of humour? Nothing like when said in a nonfriendly way. Certainly not a drop-kick.

This was a really tough puzzle for me today. About halfway through I was thinking, "it's Ian's camera that was pointed in the wrong direction!" Truly, this witty photo made a challenging, but very enjoyable puzzle. Thanks, Ian!

Well said Ian, maybe in training for a government job where the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Technically in rural Australia is something that hangs off the bottom of a sheep and is stuck to the wool, but jokingly it is as Elizabeth said

Have I used the wrong term? My friend Ruth told me a "dag" was a clever or witty person. She was an Aussie, so I assumed the slang was used by all of Oz. Now, I find I've called my friend Ian a dingleberry by misktake. I'm so sorry!

Oh Judy - you made me laugh out loud (or lol) as the kids would say. In Australia a Dag is an affectionate term you would use for a good friend and it seemed appropriate until everyone started picking on you.
