And we have landed in an ancient catherdral and we still dont know where we are or where we've been or what we've flown over. Do I get a prize for being first to post on all three jigsaws?

Dino - this time I know where we are. It's Ian's photo taken in Ireland in Glendalough, just near Dublin. I've visited there myself and it's very interesting, very old graveyard and church ruins.

Good Mean--
dino congradulations for being the get-up-and-go person. I don't know about you but I always feel a little let down when I finish all the puzzles. I catch myself coming back throughout the day just to see what people are saying.

Dino, you do get the congratulations for the day! Karen, I do the same thing, and then I go to the archives...getting a bit addicted to this!

Thank you Anne, for letting us know where we touched down. Love it! That would have been a long flight for you.

With both of my grandparents coming from Ireland, I am particularly fond of these photos. And, oh, by the way, I think all white pieces should be outlawed!!!

Thanks, Ian for the picture. Thanks also those who liked my Saturday picture. I wasn't able to do the puzzles over the weekend & only got to them yesterday. It was/is a jacaranda. It has no flowers now but it's leaves don't fall till just before the flowers appear in Oct/Nov.

This magnificent example of ancient stonemasonry was abandoned in 1214 (according to the plaque). I have no idea of how long it was in use before this. As Anne says, it is a very interesting place - where the ghosties and ghoulies join hands with the 'little people' and dance around the graveyard at night.

Pat, I agree that white pieces should be outlawed, but then I suppose it would make the jigsaws less of a challenge - and isn''t that why we do them?

Big Red, Ireland is a long way from anywhere in Australia. We did it the hard way - eastabout via USA, Canada, England and Wales. But gosh it was fun.

Kate, my neighbor has a large Jacaranda tree hanging over his fence, and while it is very beautiful when it is in flower, it is a very messy tree. While they were away I spent hours trying to keep his yard clean so that the house looked lived-in. It is a pleasure to look at these trees - from a distance.

Karen, I do the same.... come back and check the comments.

Thanks to those people who identified where we've been and the ones who took the photos.

Great puzzle Ian, and you paint the atmosphere in with your comment!! It is amazing, especially to us young Aussies, that anything can be soooo old!
I also agree with you people about the white pieces, maybe we should be able to change the background colour for some puzzles.
 |  |
Bluey, what a great idea! Never thought of that one! Now that you mention it, maybe the background should be very thin stripes. It could be that any colored background could possibly match a color in the photo. Thin stripes would bring out the pieces though. Great idea, bluey! I know that one More...

Bluey.........I love your idea...those white pieces are just too hard for me to see.

Some have voiced an opinion about being timed on the these puzzles, well here is my opinion. I just came from a site where the puzzles are timed, I am so tense right now, my shoulders are tight and because I am competitive I keep trying to beat my time and the fastest time. When I am doing a puzzle More...

Karen, I am with you 100%. I enjoy the jigsaws and I enjoy doing them in my own time.

I agree with you Karen & Ian-puzzles should be fun. And I love 'hearing' all of the comments. Everyone have a great day.
