Crickey, sometimes I think these pages are full of punologists. When I was at school, one of our teachers specialised in puns, which then infected us. The penalty for a pun by one of the children was a punch on the upper arm from a fellow student, suitable pun-isment I thought.

I'm not familiar with this kind of deer. He certainly does have interesting antlers, sort of like a moose. It's a great shot, Ian. Was he that tame, that you could get so close, or is this taken with a zoom lens? Beautiful.

What an interesting-looking animal. How can such a small head carry such handsome antlers! Must have a strong neck. Are these deer hunted for their meat and antlers?

MSN lookup says the Fallow deer is native to most continents including Australia and New Zealand. They must be good swimmwers or land masses were closer or even connected at some point in the Earths evolution.
