This is an old one! Unlike some Sporting Dogs, whose very name reflects their burning desire to retrieve, my terriers never even retrieved toys, so teaching them to retrieve a dumbbell was quite an achievement for me! And then, teaching them to go OVER the jump rather than around (which would admittedly be faster and easier) both on the way out AND back, made this quite a challenge for us!

I love to watch the dogs jump! My sister has Shelties & one of them is an Agility Champion. She trained him herself. He likes to use legs as 'weave poles', LOL!!

Thanks, jacaimi! SHE is cute (I won't tell her that you mistook her for a boy, since it can be hard to tell from a small photo, especially when you don't know them), but definitely has that terrier attitude and independence! We've done Agility, too ... and she was a Therapy Dog with hundreds of More...
