Saturday 7:20- I hope thi fowl is just sleeping. Karen, we have had rain!! I just looked at the gauge and it tells me 1 3/10 in. The map appears to tell me that this is the only area in U.S. that is having rain. Your area appears dry! It is very dark out, so may have more.

The one is kinda lost on the previous line. It is 1 and 3/10th in. We have puddles.

Puddles, we all want puddles!! This year in our area it is not 'rain, rain, go away' it is please come today! Uninteresting puzle.

I am so happy for you Carrie. We have gone 24+ hours without rain, but the tempertures are soaring. It is 99F with bright clear skies. I think we dried all up yesterday.

The colors on the rooster are gorgeous--I hope he is just resting too.

Picture reminds me of a pet chicken I named Chiquita. One day Chiquita crowed under my window. I got up quickly grab Chiquita and told ''her'' to shut up and lay an egg! He didn't cooperate!

The bird is thinking, 'I am content to be beautiful and you may gaze at me in all my splendor.' Hey, it's possible.
Oh and by the way, we need the ground to dry here so we can finally mow.
