Stitches twin sister, Bitty, lives at my house. She's a "desk cat", too.

Years ago I taught at a school where an older teacher used to call that pose" playing the cello"--it's stuck with me ever since.

Hello Stitches - you are a real

Stitches was only a few months old when I took this picture in 1996. She had been found on a Winnipeg street in early January having been hit by a car when she was only about 8 weeks old. She had to have many stitches, including losing half her tail, hence her name. She was always willing to be very "helpful" with my paperwork. She died January 5, 2009.
