I absolutely love roadkill for supper, especially if it's a prime filet mignon steak off the cow cow that transport truck just hit!

Excuse my ignorance, but what is roadkill??

Roadkill are animals that are killed on the road by being hit by cars. Not very appetizing to me.

Such tastey delights as:
Square of Hare, Poodle puree, Pit Bull Pot Pie,
Thumper-on-the-bumper, Curbside Kitty. The list goes on.

Welcome to backwater America with the Roadkill cafe. Now if I just understood some of the Aussie terms I'd be more with it. I've even been there but still get lost in some of the conversations. Where is OZ, anyway? Are there wizards there?

Now this isn't exactly a roadkill story, but it is a true story. I can remember when a groundhog got into our school and Mac, our custodian, was chasing it down the hall. Then we witnessed the groundhog chasing Mac down the hall. Frankly, I never thought Mac could move that fast. But Mac persevered and had groundhog stew for supper that night.

Hilarious!!! Dec.28,07 Maybe deer, for a tiny minority in these parts.

For any outside the USA, we do NOT eat roadkill! It's often joked about but never really eaten, unless Pata's statement about deer is true.
