Talk about anything and everything, but place your comments in the right categories so that people on slow internet connections can still enjoy the site. Also, be nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

Looks like Prickly Pear to me, an introduced species, and classified Noxious Weed here, but so pretty and nice to see in it's own background! And how much green is there!! Nice pic Sue!!

The cacti are so pretty in bloom. We have them gowning in front yards here, but there is some talk about getting rid of all plants not native to California.

Lovely cacti flowers, they always seem at odds to the plant to me

We have these cacti even in West Virginia - intruders brought in, often spread when folks try to get rid of them and chop them up, making even more plants. But they are pretty, and the fruits are edible!

I forgot to say "good photo, Sue", with all the other plants around this cactus to give it its setting!
