To whomever took this -- was the photo taken from the runway? Have cruised to Gibraltar more than once and this angle is different. Just wondering where the photographer was when taking it.

Have been to Gib from Spain twice. First time, before the border between Gib and Spain was opened so had to go on the hydrofoil to Tangiers and back. Second time, we drove across, past the airport, and this shot looks as though it was taken from around there. As a Brit, it's a strange place to go because it's like Britain, but not - better climate, etc.

Good morning, Pat/UK very good, we were in a very long line waiting to get into Gibraltar from Spain. This was about '94 or '95 and after we got to Gibraltar the Spanish had decided to turn off the electric that day. Didn't get to go to the top to see the monkeys, taxi ride was tooo expensive.

So this is the famous rock ... it looks just about like the logo in the insurance company ads! Good photo.
