Is this a crane or a snake bird with the long neck?

The title of the photo didn't show until I had posted my comment, so it's a heron.

Great Blue Heron.

It doesn't look blue to me!

Good picture. Photographer must have snuck uo quietly.

I don't see a title in the puzzle pictures. Is one supposed to be there?
 |  |
Gath: Sorry. I didn't phrase that question very well. Based on Anne's comment about the title on the picture, is there supposed to be a caption on the pictures once you solve the puzzle? I only get a cograds message.

Lovely serene picture. Thanks Gath.

Nal??? Great pic!!!

Greg, They are amazingly tame when they get use to their surroundings. I have one that suns himself in my backyard. He scares me more than I scare him. They have an awesome wing spread. PS: The caption is under the cheater picture on the left. :-)

For Canuk Greg - The title of the picture is below the key picture on the left hand side of the page. My screen is just to small to show the title without scrolling down, so that may be where it is hiding

The great blues that we see in our area are quite a bit darker, sort of a slate blue. This is a beautiful photo. Thanks to the photographer!

Ihese are migratory birds seen in Nova Scotia in late summer perching in trees along St. Mary's Bay, which is hard to do because they have webbed feet!
