Because this uses a mask, I assume a Hopi designed this art. They wear masks in their ceremonies to represent spirits. Because their ceremonies are sacred to them, I'm sure this mask isn't an accurate depiction, just artistic representation. And I don't know the exact history of this piece - I just admired it.

If only we could enlarge it enough to read that little sign to the left of the art piece! Then, again, maybe it's better to each make up his/her own story. Truly elegant -- thanks, Wilodene, well done!
