Wilodene but where's the entrance?

All those holes you see in the cactus are the entrances. Various animals and birds create those holes for their own use. The cactus isn't hurt by the intrusions. I only know this because I picked up a book called "Cactus Hotel" for the grandchildren, and now I look for cactuses with holes in case I can spot an animal or bird entering or leaving.

Sorry I didn't get back to this site last night to answer questions, so you may not see this comment today. No, I didn't see any animals in this cactus, but one hole was so deep and angled that it was hard to see - I needed a flashlight. Yes, the grandchildren loved the book and I have read it many times to the younger ones.
