What a lovely thing! It can creep over here any day!

I have a similar vine growing at my home in Alabama. Do the flowers close at night?

This is so pretty I hope it is not a pest species as so many of the creepers can be!

I have them in my yard too and yes they only bloom in day-light. I don't recall their name, something about one-day somethings! Not much help but they are so pretty, dainty and prolific.

Jeepers, creepers, where did you get those peepers -- sorry, that annoying tune sprang to mind and I wanted to share it!

Those flowers resemble orchids. How beautiful. I wouldn't mind them taking over here.

Beautiful! Western Australia is know as the 'wildflower state'. Springtime in WA is amazing. Unfortunately I don't know the name of this one but, on this cold, wet & windy morning in Perth, it makes me wish for spring (September)

This could be Hardenbergia otherwise known as Traveller's Joy!

That's one of my photos. It is colloquially named as a Native Wisteria, but I think it is a Hardenbergia. Loads of it all over the bushland in the spring.

Hardenbergia comptoniana, Native wisteria, Fabaceae subfamily Faboideae. South west of Western Australia on sand plains and dunes. The Eastern States also have native Hardenbergia but the colouring is a bit different!
Origin of the name: Hardenbergia...after Franziska Countess von Hardenberg, comptoniana... After Mary, 1st Marchioness of Northampton whose husband was Charles Compton.
