This is my photo taken up at Wickham in the north/west of Western Australia.
Beware of the giant iron ore trucks, they can be very dangerous!!!

One of my brother-in-laws had a summer job driving one of these monsters. He took the kids to see it on a sunday. Somewhere in one of our famiy albums there are pictures like this one.
 |  |
Couldn't change that tire.
 |  |
WOW - oval tires- must be the Aussies have not invented round tires yet!
 |  |
What a monster! How many gallons per mile does this one use???
 |  |
Anne, from the oval tires and tall thin children I guess you must have been able to shrink th ephoto sideways. How did you do that? I bet the diet industry uses that for before & after photos.
 |  |
Wow, I had no idea that there were trucks that huge...how do you get into one? Must be a ladder in the front.
 |  |
Clever ntd, and you are probably correct,
 |  |
That is one big mother of a truck Anne! Did you ask if you could drive it!
 |  |
This is a fairly old photo isn't it Anne, I remember seeing it a long time ago.
 |  |
I forgot the '?'.

Easy puzzle

Back in the 70's a small female friend drove a heavy old jeep. It broke down one day & we were try to push it to the side of the road (it was on an upward slope, too) when a guy stopped to help. After it was out of the traffic his parting comment was - 'that's why women shouldn't be driving, they're not strong enough to push them out of the way.' I'd like to see him push that one!!!!!!
 |  |
Ian - the photo was on tough sudoku months ago.

To reduce the photo to submit to the sudoku site made it out of shape a bit, BUT WE DO ACTUALLY HAVE ROUND WHEELS IN AUSTRALIA. WE DAMN WELL INVENTED THEM!!!
 |  |
No doubt you also invented fire at the same time ;-) I'm having a lot of Microsoft type errors with this site both yesterday and today.
 |  |
Very funny!! ha ha
 |  |
DotCom: They may not have invented fire, but the Aussies did invent the air foil wheels used on most airplanes and the solid puncture proff tires that are used on the truck shown. Say what?
 |  |
proff = Proof. Sorry.
 |  |
Anne, when the kids said they wanted a truck for Christmas, I think you went a bit too far!
 |  |
Onya Annie!
 |  |
Did anyone see Charleze Theron in North Country? Her character put up with too much crap being one of the first women to drive one of these buggies in the Iron Range of Minnesota.
 |  |
Aw, Big Red, I only bought them a little tonka toy truck!!! That's what the humid weather in the north/west does to things, makes 'em grow!
 |  |
What a ridiculous photo,it's so distorted!!!!!
 |  |
Life is a game, and money is how we keep score !

Ned (is that you Beehive?): You might consider altering your perspective and learning some coomo respect and manners towards those who contribute to this site. Love it or leave it as the saying goes. Maybe if you're lucky, Santa will bring you more tolerance and less spite for Christmas! Merry Christmas and good will to all!
 |  |
And the above message applies to you to Gerald.
 |  |
I hope Gath doesn't put any more of my photos on the jigsaw pages because they seem to draw too much criticism, whether it be the subject matter, the photo itself (some photos are hard to reduce in size), the place, etc. They were meant for the sudoko pages where they are more readily appreciated.
Looking forward to seeing some photos on here submitted by people who visit these pages!
 |  |
The oval tires just prove how strong we Aussies are. When we want to make something fit, we do. Right Anne?
 |  |
Absolutely, Dino!
 |  |
Hey, leave gerald fr ton alone! He's always funny and wise and is not nasty.I don't know what he has done to deserve that.Ted was just stating fact, he/she/they, didn't like it and thought it looked strange. So???
That's their opinion.
 |  |
On second thoughts, I think Greg fr Canada might be suffering from the Green-eyed Monster.Gerald is fun, he is not, and he probably thinks Gerald is getting far too much attention from his fan club, as someone called it.I have gone back over the last couple of months, and as far as I can ascertain, More...

Anne, please don't ever stop submitting photos, your are interesting and quite lovely. Your are a skilled photographer and it would be a sad day if you ever gave up.
 |  |
D*mn, Your = yours.
 |  |
Maybe we all need to read the statement from Gath under comments. Something about being nice to one another? I'm as guilty as any for getting in a snit now and then, and I know better. Meanwhile, here's a cute CHRISTMAS JIGSAW
http://www.jacquielawson.com/viewcard.asp?code=ER136 10552 Peace, brothers and sisters!
 |  |
PS: Don't pick on Gerald -- we ladies have a soft spot for him!
 |  |
Liz - as you seem to know so much about these pages, you should remember two days ago I copped a lot of flak for a photo of my son on a motorbike.

Thank you my good friends, C. Greg and Ian for your comments.
 |  |
I don't know so much about anything let alone these pages.I just had the time here at work, to go back to easy jigsaws and read Gerald's comments. As to the other day,I seem to recall a nurse, commented that the photo of your son astride a motorbike, was for her, an unsettling one.Understandable More...
 |  |
lizzie, lizzie, lizzie when will you learn????
Lovely, beautiful etc are the only comments we want to read, reality is banned from here.
//^-^\\ :o) etc
Now let me see all the ladies have a soft spot for G
and all the guys love Anne.
Is that right?
Now does G love A and does A love G and will abc find true love in def?Tune in tomorrow folks......
 |  |
Anne I don't understand, what had Gerald got to do with you copping flak for your son's photo, or indeed Ted or Ned or whatever his name is, for that matter.Just reread Canuk Greg's Christmas greeting, what has a beehive got to do with things.
 |  |
abc Point taken, I stand corrected.
