Hard to believe I'm first, when it's 3:37 p.m. here -- but I did have problems accessing the site before, so maybe it just returned to normal!

I love watching the birds at my feeders, but most don't let me get this close, though chickadees will scold and tell me to hurry up!

Our family of little ravens have just been in for brekky. Amazing - with the bread, an adult drops it in the drinking water, soaks it, then takes pieces to feed the baby. The other adult is filling up with meat to also feed the little one. Now it is the magpies turn to feed.

My birds stay at the feeder all morning and late afternoon. I've got some nearly white doves that stay under the feeder because it looks like the small birds throw seeds down for them and the doves can't lite on the feeder because they are two small. 02/11/08 Monday
