When I saw the ducks swimming in a college campus duck pond, I knew I found the college for me. Ducks and duck pounds can be so peaceful. Where does this duck colony live?

Good Morning Fellow Puzzlers.

I have to share a funny. As the puzzle was opening up I heard ducks in the background. I went to check out the noise which turned out to be Girlie-girl playing with a toy that has duck sounds. I just had to chuckle when I came back to see a picture of More...

I used to take my grandsons to the park with me and we would feed the ducks...they became more and more bold and practically surrounded my car, we were afraid and that was the end of the duck feeding.

At the nature preserve near my home, the naturalist explained that since the ducks there were migratory birds, they didn't want the birds to become to dependent of human feeders, especially when they pass by areas where duck hunting is legal!

Many of our lakes had excellent beaches for swimmers and now are covered with duck droppings. We almost wish duck hunting were legal here.

At one of the parks I used to go to, they have two dogs that chase ducks. They don't let the dogs hurt them, the dogs keep the duck from staying very long.

I should of said that the park is next door to the Santa Clara swim center, where the very best swimmers in the U.S. train.

At a lake nearby, over 20 ducks and swans have been found dead this week,most likely from rotten bread fed to them! Meanwhile, the Canada Geese keep eating and pooping! Karen, hope the tropical depression doesn't drop a mess on you and yours!

We have had an overabundance of Canada Geese and growing populations for a number of years so this year a program was started to reduce the amount of young. The nests are watched and when the eggs start arriving the eggs are 'addled' picked up and gently shaken to break up the insides but leave More...

hi all, thats one of my picture..took this picture when I went to Staten ferry,NY to visit the statue of Liberty..a lot were floating around and it was fun watching them raise and fall along with the gentle waves of the Atlantic...actually there was a dozen and before i click four just floated away!
