We had troule, not only with squirrels but with raccoons and possums. My husband put rat guards on the feeder poles and left them slightly loose. Anyone who tries to clomb over, the guard slants and they cant get a hold. We also put sunflower seed on the ground for the "critters" and even a fox will eat and not bother anyone else. Lovely picture.
