Hi everyone, I didn't think frogs came in blue!! (Unless they were plasticine :) ?

I've seen this frog before, thankfully not in the wild!

I thought the same Lori, we're more likely to see a green one than a blue one.

You'd be blue, too, if you lived in a rainforest all the time.

I'll tell ya, I was clueless until the last piece. I thought it was some celestial spectical.

I never would have guessed what this is!!!

Reminds me of a silly rhyme or something my mother used to say to us when we were young...'I never saw a purple cow'...I can't remember the rest. Must ask her if she can!!

The blue frog is also known as the poison dart frog. When kept in captivity, it is not poisonous due to changes in its diet (no poison?). It also doesn't leave any poop to clean up. Read all about it! http://www.blackjungle.com/poisondartfrogs.html

What a pretty frog -- it almost looks like a porcelain figure. I can imagine seeing it after a few drinks ....
