is it worth two in the bush???

I didn't realise they were so tiny

Squirrels. They may be tiny but they do know how to create havoc if they get in your house.

We had a pet chipmunk named Chippy. He was tame with us. He didn't create havoc, but would chew things like pencils, the arms of eyeglasses, the edge of the TV. He still had his hoarding instinct though. He would hide his peanuts in our shoes. He had a cage to call home. He loved to climb our Christmas tree.

OOh! We don't have anything like this over here. Very cute.

Awwwwww... what a cutie. I remember the first time I saw some ground squirrels, down at Hoover Dam in Nevada (I lived in NV for 7 years) and couldn't believe how tiny they were. I sort of expected them to be the size of rabbits or something like that.

Reminds me of the squirrel glider (like a sugar glider but slightly bigger) we had as a pet for a long time before she was well enough to release back to the bush. She had been attacked by a cat and had lossed an eye. Still very very cute though!

Very good Anne, I'll pay that.

I'll agree, it is very cute, but sounds like you don't want them in your house - a bit like our possums, they cause hovic & make so much noise in the ceiling.

Much cuter in someone else's home, not mine! LOL

These cute little rascals can bite all the way through a finger, too! It's best to leave them in the wild. This one probably was rescued as a baby and has been house-raised since.
