all! Halloween is over here. It's now All Hallow's Day. Hope you're still having fun to all my US and Canadian friends!

Brilliant blue eyes! Naja is a venomous snake ... how did this beauty get that name?

TerrierCyn, it just seemed appropriate to name a lithe, sinuous Siamese cat after an elegant southeast asian snake, the common cobra, Naja naja.

And here I thought Naja might mean: I allow you to serve me, but don't push it. Beautiful cat. I took care of (fed) a friend's Siamese once. His name was Ming and he growled while he ate. He tolerated me. When his people were home and let him out, he'd growl at the neighbor if the man came too close to the property line!

PS My Halloween is the day I go to my daughter's and raid the kids' candy bowl. Julie has them all put their candy in a bowl to share and to keep track of candy intake.

And I have a slightly overweight Naja look-alike, Princess Katherine. (I got her third-hand; clearly a princess, she only answered to "Kitty".)

Naja is a very regal looking cat, well done Bev for getting her to pose for you.
It was fun having all the neighbourhood kids dress up and come knocking.

Took in a pair of young, snow shoe Siamese some years back. They were too vocal and rowdy for our regulars, so they went to a more - tolerant home. Beautiful animals, with diverse personalities.

Beautiful felinel, and photo, Bev. Somehow it's appropriate for Hallowe'en, with the ghostly More...
