Talk about anything and everything, but place your comments in the right categories so that people on slow internet connections can still enjoy the site. Also, be nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

Bendigo is a major city in Victoria for those of us not from Australia.

Bendigo sounds like an ailing back condition.

Bendigo was one of the major gold producing towns in Victoria. There is still a working gold mine in the middle of the city. We visited this lovely museum with our then 2.5yo great-granddaughter who was frightened by the rehersal for the awakening of the dragon. There are lots of dragons to visit here. Some are over a hundred years old.

Reminds me of my recent trip to China. A lot of Chinese came to Bendigo to work the gold mines, if my history is correct. I should have read your comment before writing mine, Supergran.
