Just as l was getting soooo bored with beautiful sunscapes, trust Wendy to put on a new spin: how intersting to depict people watching the celestial show.

Libby, I've only ever seen the "green flash" once and that was at dawn over Pakistan on our way back to Australia. It is real, spectacular and brief.

If you are in Darwin during the tourist season there is a wonderful night market at Mindil Beach each Friday and it is packed with hundreds of people who sit on the lawns and eat their dinner and watch the sun set. You can't swim because of stingers and crocodiles which is a shame.
