Yes, Liz, not great for a vacation -- just no atmosphere! Lots of Frequent Flier miles, though! This was actually much easier than some B/W: just follow the gradations of gray from the black corner to the white corner! Wonderful shot!

Sadie, I believe the moon has an effect on us. Of course, with Google, you can 'prove' it does or 'prove' it doesn't. Check it out.

Loved doing this one - it reminds me of all those old black & white sci-fi shows on television - great fun. Would love the telescope.

Notice that large hole in the center of the picture....I think I see the shadow of the man in the moon!

I wonder whether it is expsensive to own a telescope that strong. It surely would be nice to see the moon that near! Of course, for the meteor showers, you'd have to be able to pack it off to the boonies -- city lights bleed out all that beauty. Any astronomers among us?
