Yosemite is an awesome place. With it sheer cliffs and towering domes, it is a magnet for rock-climbers. My husband and I climbed the (fairly) steep face of one of the lesser-known domes: not Half Dome, but (aptyly named) Puppy Dome! It's about 50' high, and a 10-minute hike from the parking lot. The glaciers that formed the domes felt few distinct hand- or footholds, so it was pretty interesting!
