Way to easy. I intended for it to be Hard. But many thanks to you Gath for using my picture! It is derived from a picture of mine that was used for the 6th of October puzzle. Being disabled and confined to home a great deal of the time, doing these puzzles are a bright spot in my day. Again thanks.

Boy did I make a big mistake. The original puzzle was actually the 7th of October, not the 6th. Sorry about that.

Thanks to Donald, now even my finished puzzle looks like I haven't started! Maybe I really haven't started at all. Reminds me of the movie "Groundhog Day" and on 2/2 (AUS) as well. Great idea and execution, Donald. Now you'll have to submit today's unfinished puzzle for Groundhog Day next year.

Fall foliage at Furman University. Looks like the leaves are well scattered!. Thanks Donald for something different.

What a sod of a jigsaw. Donald I think you have easily surpassed any of my 'challenging little photos' that I have submitted occasionally. That was quite a puzzle, but I hope it doesn't set the standard for the future or I might just slash my wrists. Well done to you and Gath.

Well, I finished it and I still can't really see it. Lots of white!

I had to take a look a second look at the photo to make sure I was seeing it right. Really enjoyed the puzzle thanks

WOW! What a COOL puzzle! I really enjoyed that! And not nearly as hard as I had thought it would be!

Thanks to you, Donald, I learned a new trick when working with lots of white: click on the completed puzzle so its lines show up BEFORE looking for the next piece. Great Idea for a puzzle.

Oh, Ian, don't do any that drastic, PLEASE!
Gath, just make the puzzles easy from now on, plllleeeeeaaaasssseeee!

Allright Anne, just for you - no wrist slashing.

Oh, good grief! I'll look for Donald's name before I start a puzzle. Very clever, Donald -- diabolical, in fact.

Oh, thank God for that, Ian.
I had trouble balancing the end of month books at work today worrying about you.

Donald, at first I was calling you other names, ##&*%$$###@!!! And then I noticed it was you who submitted this puzzle that's both cruel and excellent....

Managed it, but it was a hard one as very difficult to see with all the white spaces.
Good Donald!

Wonderful puzzle Donald, and I also am glad it was not a hard as it would have been then 'diabolical'!!

Ian, I am glad the end is not near, and slashed wrists are soooo messy!!!

Anne, poor you, I was also doing 'end-of-month' and it was quite enough without Ian's near demise on my mind!!!

That was a great idea for a puzzle Donald. Since no one else has asked, I will. Did you finish the original?
04/Feb/09 2:33 AM
 |  |
Yes Bev, I finished the original. There is an unwritten rule that you must finish the puzzle if you take the photo. I am trying to think of something to top this but not be too hard. Mm, maybe a background of ... Well maybe it would be best if we wait and see. Thanks to everyone for the kind remarks.
