figured it out. rainbow is the arch and lorikeet is the name of the town. it's in erewhon.

It's quite simple, the picture and the caption don't match - either that or I'm hallucinating (Sp?).

erewhon is close but erehwon would have been the correct spelling for nowhere backwards. Tricky.

I had the same thought as you, Anne! The bird was on while I was away so I missed it then, but after I came back & did the archives all that was left of it was the caption, & it has appeared under other photos as well since! The whole site's been unstable so there are lots of captions & photos getting mixed up & lost. Gath must be so worn out by it all!

PS. It's 7.39am.

PPS, I've noticed that most of the mix ups have been on Medium & today the Medium Sudoku is unaccessible too! Maybe the gremlins don't like Mediums - to be taken to mean any sort of Medium!

There is not a time i leave my house with out seeing a few of these birds they are truly incredible, there are every where, where i live. my mother has a few in a cage made from an old cattle crate, two of them are so quiet they will land on your shoulder or head if your not carefull
