It's a Rudbeckia X hybrid otherwise known as a Gloriosa Daisy. Grows to 4ft & is biennial. It's cousin is Rudbeckia hirta (Black Eyed Susan) & grows to 3ft & is also biennial. They're both from the US of A! 19th Feb'07

P.S. Gazanias are from the daisy family as are Rudbekias, but they are perennials from South Africa!

I love mediums like this--fun, colourful, fast so I can do them without worrying about my work and still enjoy it more than the easy ones. Light relief by contrast to the Hard ones which take a bit more time and concentration usually.
