Still fun though, thanks Sue!

Lovely photo and fun to do - gives an 'architectural' challenge to putting together the correct pieces. I really enjoy the detailing - hope it makes me look more closely at places in the future (maybe with an eye to creating a challenging jigsaw puzzle?) (if only I can figure out how to configure the photos for the site!). You regular have excellent eyes for neat subjects - thanks!

I'll bet this is a cold church in the winter.

This made a really good puzzle Sue, I love an 'architectural' challenge!! Thanks for the term Joan!
 |  |
That kept me busy for a good while...worth it, though.

Joan, there is a box of information on the left-hand side of this puzzle. Towards the end of it there is a link to the Sudoku site.
At the top of the Sudoku page there is a link to 'Submit your own photos' and it gives you the restrictions.
I crop my photos into a square shape, Using the More...

Dearest Ian, not only are you a great puzzle photographer, you are a veritable saint for giving me these clues - particularly since I, too, am a Mac user! ˆshall give it a try and submit some of my photos from Puglia (southern Italy) where I work in the summers! I love the landscape there, so bizarre in may ways, so different from the north. Thank you for responding to my plaintive comments!

Joan, anytime you need help just ask and I will see what I can do. I don't have all the answers, but I can try.
 |  |
Joan - one important hint, before you fiddle with your original photos I strongly recommend that you make a duplicate. Then if you muck up the duplicate you still have the original.
 |  |
Joan, finally, if you do, by any chance, muck up one of your precious holiday photos, go to the drop down menu 'Photo' and the bottom command is 'Revert to Original'. That should get you out of trouble.

What a lovely photo, Sue.
Everybody, I so enjoy this site and all the bantering and exchange of information. It's a veritable cyber 'Cheers,' if you know the TV show.
