THanks to Ian for yesterday's explanation of OZ. If I ever get there again I'll try to pronounce it like a native, but with my New England accent I probably won't fool anyone. Lovely country no matter what one calls it.

G'day from OZ jj...
Where is cc?

Great pic, what a place! Made for a fairly easy puzzle though even on HR.
 |  |
Great photo. I love to do the scenery puzzles.

Another nice picture Martha, and that tide does come in fast doesn't it? Fairly easy puzzle though.

jj - I thought I might have just managed to offend all the Brits on the site in my first contribution. If I did it was unintentional - actually I married one!

I agree with Hether - where is cc?
 |  |
I'll hazard a guess that cc might be Cape Cod. Am I right??
 |  |
A lovely scene.
 |  |
jj I wouldn't worry too much about your accent, you would be most welcome.

Canuk Greg that looks like a pretty intelligent guess to me. I wonder if we will get an answer?

Canuk Greg lives close enough to figure out my geography. cc is Cape Cod, a synthetic island (peninsula with a canal that cuts it off from the mainland)that sticks out about 60 miles into the Atlantic Ocean. It is beautiful here, especially in autumn after the touristas leave. Ocean effects More...

That one was just too easy for a 'hard'. Give us a challenge Gath!

Another spectacular Canadian scene. I will definitely have to visit there one of these days.

Anne, Canada is well worth a visit, it is a great country with friendly people.
 |  |
That was too easy. Great pic though.

Great photo, but I agree with Deidre. Too easy for a hard!

Ian, have you been to Canada. With all our friendly Canucks on the site and the beautiful photos they submit, yes, I would love to go there. Who knows, I just might one of these days.
 |  |
beautiful, but not as good as our Gt. Ocean Road!
 |  |
Anne, yes I lived in Canada with my family for a year. While there we visited every Province and Territory. I have many Canadian friends, most of whom live in Ottawa and a long-lost cousin who lives in North Bay. It is a fascinating country and the people are very hospitable. I'm sure you would love it.

Pam, the Great Ocean Road is just about my favourite place in OZ. We are off to Anglesea for a holiday in early Dec.

Hi jj from another Cape Codder! I have been to Nova Scotia many times and also all around the Minas Basin and watched the tidal bore in Truro. Talk about rapid tide changes! Wow cannot describe it.
