Here's what I discovered about this beautiful field of flowers. The everlasting annuals are the most popular form, for their flowers are cut and dried for winter decoration; they are found wild in Australia. There are carpets of them in the spring but they are only a foot or so high in the wild - at least the ones I have seen. You can get bright yellow ones as well. The cultured ones are more perfect and taller. See my photos on my page for somme everlastings at King's Park.
