Doesn't look much like a sculpture to me. I thought this comment was on a different picture a few days ago. More problems with the comments perhaps?

Jane, I think you are right (the surfboards?). And this certainly looks like an eddy or something to me. Maybe Kate will come on and enlighten us.

Jane it was taken while I was looking at the sculptures & I included it as Nature's own sculpture. took a lot longer to carve! It's taken on the walk around to Tamarama beach from Bondi, looking down a cliff. If you looked straight out from there you'd see Waverley Cemetery on the distant shore. More...

PS. Yes it was the surfboards! And there were live surfers on boards in the sea away from the rocks!

It's a delightful walk, especially when the sculptures (natural and man-made) abound.
