'I think that I shall never see, a poem lovely as a tree'. This is a beauty....

Altho I love quiet beaches and large trees, my favorite puzzle of the day was the dragon flies.

What a feast we've had today! Three beauties!

More snow for southern Wisconsin, which is beautiful, but tiresome already. The dragon flies, day lilies, and the autumn yellow trees are reminders of what was and will be.

Hard, but worth it.

Yes indeed, a good day for puzzles.

Nice quoting ntd! I think we have seen this one before, and that it is in a park that is part of a uni campus in north easter America, but I could well be wrong!

Bluey, you are correct in that it is in a park and we have had it before. But it is a city park and if you were to see it today, there would be no leaves and the ground would be covered with snow and probably some of the branches would be missing as a result of the bad ice storm we had a couple of weeks ago.

Kathy, does your area look sort of like a bomb hit it? Mine does. A tree bomb, though -- luckily most other things are standing and/or in repair and power restored. I hate an ice storm!

This is the perfect shade tree that everyone would love to have in their back yard, I think. We have tall, tall longleaf pines and tall oaks, which are also pretty.
