Sue for the great picture. My aunt(now deceased) retired in Vancouver, BC because she said the gulf stream caused the weather to be warm year around. Does anybody know about that? It's hard to envision warm climates so far north but it must be so.

Hi shar. Your aunt didn't quite get it right. The gulf stream is a North Atlantic phenomena, not the North Pacific.

Can anyone else see the man's face in the left sided mountain? Looks a bit spooky for me

Most Impressive! Yes, Joann, he's there all right - with his squinty eyes, pursed lips and stocking-cap style of haircut. A real old man of the mountain!

He's saying "enjoy the place but take your rubbish out with you!" Great photo thanks Sue! There's a place in the north of Scotland where they can grow tropical plants outside because of the Gulf Stream!

Shar, I know the weather stays really nice in Seattle, Washington, which is a bit south of Vancouver. Not tropical, but amazingly pleasant!
Good photo, Sue!
